Privacy Policy

In short

Land of Spirits is an entertainment app sold as a single one-time purchase. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not ask for your name, phone number, contacts, photos, location or device identifiers. The only personal detail we keep is the email address attached to your purchase.

What is collected

When you use the Séance feature, the question you type and the fictional reply generated for it are stored on our backend (Totalum) together with a random, non-identifying session code and the chosen spirit. This is what lets a conversation stay coherent and lets us diagnose failures. The session code is generated in your device and is not linked to you or your device identity.

Standard server logs (such as request time and error messages) may be recorded by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

AI processing

Spirit replies are generated by a large language model (OpenAI, accessed through our backend provider Totalum). The text of your question is sent to that provider solely to generate the reply. Do not type sensitive personal information into the séance.

Payment and your purchase

Land of Spirits is unlocked with one payment of €5. Payments are processed by Stripe — your card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never reach our servers. From a completed payment we store the email address you gave at checkout, the amount and currency, Stripe's payment references, and the access key that unlocks the app. We use these only to give you access, to answer support requests and to keep the accounting records the law requires.

Your access key is kept in a cookie on your device. That cookie exists purely to remember that you paid — it is not used for tracking or advertising.

What we never do

• We do not sell or share your data with data brokers or advertisers.
• We do not build advertising or marketing profiles.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Storage

Séance transcripts are kept only as long as needed to run and improve the app, and are deleted on request. Because transcripts are not tied to an identity, we may ask you for the session code shown in your conversation to locate them.

Your requests

To request deletion of stored séance content, or to ask anything about this policy, write to artimejus@gmail.com. We answer deletion requests within 30 days.

Nature of content

Land of Spirits is fiction. The book, the rituals, the recipes and the spirits are invented for entertainment. Nothing in the app is a real occult instruction, a prediction, or medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
